Occasionally we have calls where people are having feeding issues with their folder inserter equipment. The feeding issues manifest as stoppages, jams, or skewed folds and are typically caused when the stacks that are fed into the folder inserter are not properly aligned, or separated. This is particularly noticeable in laser printer output where the paper is heated, causing it to curl and there is an additional element of static electricity that causes the paper to stick to each other, making it difficult to properly stack them for insertion.
The most efficient method of dealing with this is the use of a Jogger. Joggers vibrate a diagonal tray to set paper in at a high rate of speed and produce a very clean stack of paper with the static electricity shaken out of it. These are not expensive pieces of equipment for the professional results they produce and more importantly they eliminate a source of downtime, which as we all know costs money.
We have joggers on our showroom floor, stop by some time for a demonstration, you will like what you see.
