Those of you operating our new IM or IJ series postage machines have inquired as to how you can extend the use of your ink supply. Those of you that also appreciate the quality of our imprint compared to others in the market should know that each time the ink head is “parked” it goes through a cleaning routine that involves “spitting” where a small amount of ink is expelled through the head.

The key to extending the useful life of your ink cartridges is to run as much mail at one time as possible. In that way you reduce the number of cleaning routines and the ink used during that process. It is that simple!
