On Thursday May 3, San Diego Postal held an open house that provided six strategies for coping with the Rate change that occurred May 14, 2007. Over 200 people from 140 companies visited the San Diego Postal & Shipping Equipment Showroom in Poway.  Representatives from the USPS as well as from Hasler were on hand to answer questions from the attendees.

The most popular area was the seminar room, where San Diego Postal & Shipping Equipment Owner and President Gordon Glazer presented the Six Strategies for Dealing with the Rate Change to standing room only crowds through out the day.

 

The second most popular area (after the food table!) was the operating WJ150 Mailing System with Dynamic Weighing Platform and Shape Based Compliant sensors to select the correct rate based on the letter piece shape, size and weight.
